this is foundations.01

foundations.01 is Rricks' first collection, these crochet designs build on the foundations which have been developed across generations; the medium of crochet has not changed and cannot be industrialised, it has managed to stay true to its foundations despite the modernistation of fashion production. these foundations, which have been developing for hundreds of years, have allowed me to see how far i can push its limits and explore its possibilities. i have always tried to express myself thrpugh art in a multitude of forms, in attempts at externalising the internal, the collection pushes for the visibility of the Other and the unseen.
