• hand-wash items at cool temperatures ~ 30°C

• use wool safe detergent

• when hand washing do not wring, stretch or scrub, instead rub gently

• thoroughly rinse all soap off the item before drying

• lay down flat to dry (i lay the item on a towel which helps it dry and keeps it off a potentially dirty floor!)

• store items folded rather than hung up as this can stretch the knitwear
